Bequest is a value-added, proprietary patent pending solution that integrates with the VeriFone VX510 and VX570 point-of-sale credit card terminals, allowing Vet practitioners to access donated funds from the Veracity Community Foundation. Bequest funding can help vets offset the hard costs of pet care services and pro-bono work to their clients and their community. Best of all, participating vets are in control of their grant funding.

Bequest performs on a local level to benefit the people, animals and businesses within your community. The only ability to accrue donated funds through the acceptance of a merchant services program offered by Veracity.

Process your credit card payments through Veracity – Veracity will donate a portion of every dollar processed to your Bequest fund.

Community Contributors – Local merchants, from the pet store to the dry cleaner, can participate as community contributors on your behalf. Veracity will earmark their donated funds to your account.

Apply your processing savings to your fund – Veracity will honor your current pricing, but take the total monthly amount saved when processing with us and apply it to your grant fund each month.

Once your allocated fund reaches a benchmark amount, Bequest grant funding will be available at your discretion.

There is no set limit.  While some grants may not cover the entire cost of the service, it is up to the discretion of the vet to determine how they would like to disperse the funds that are available. Funding caps may be imposed to prevent complete depletion of funding requests.

The Bequest application is supported on the VeriFone® VX570 and VX510. Veracity can swap out your present equipment, if necessary, with the one that supports the application for Bequest.

By participating in Bequest your practice will become recognized as a Bequest provider, but more importantly you will help pets and  their owners in your community.
